Black woodpecker

This weeks shots from the memory card. We were lucky enough to spot a black woodpecker, even it might be somewhat common around here. Black woodpecker as the largest woodpecker in Europe is in my opinion an exiting bird to spot in the nature.

A couple of macro shots with my Sigma 105mm f.2.8 OS of a ladybug and a bumblebee. Picture of a four spotted chaser dragonfly is along with the rest of the pictures captured with Tamron 150-600.

Animal kingdom of the Rhodopuisto

A short morning trip to the Alppiruusupuutarha located in Haaga, Helsinki. Even that it’s the time of the year when rhododendrons are blossoming, our attention was stolen by the animals of the park that are more than friendly. The macros are taken with Sigma 105 OS and the rest with Tamron 70-200.
