Superb overtime win by Haukat over Karhu HT in a tight thriller.
Kiekko-Vantaa clashed against TUTO in the second game of the series. The game lasted for 157 minutes and 54 seconds making it the longest hockey game in the Finnish history. This unprepared photographer did not anticipate such a marathon of a hockey game and was forced to call it a night after 6 periods of play when the camera batteries died. The game ended to 4-3 for Kiekko-Vantaa who now leads the series 2-0. This time there is no commentary on the pictures because the next game is about to start in few hours in Turku and it is a couple hours drive to get there. More pictures from the 3rd game on Sunday, so stay tuned. Meanwhile here are some random shots from the historic event.

Kiekko-Vantaa showed a lot of heart coming 2 times from behind and winning the game 4-2 in the end. This is the stuff heroes are made off.
Just under 500 spectators were gathered to enjoy a Mestis clash between Kiekko-Vantaa and TuTo. The game was a tight encounter but in the end it was the guests from Turku who had to leave empty handed.
